This project involved the removal of an existing supended ceiling and the installation of a new one for the Clacton-on-Sea bowls club in Essex. At 900m2 this is a very large suspended ceiling to cover a single span and is much larger than most office suspended ceilings that we normally install.
The removal of the old ceiling and the installation of the new suspended ceiling had to take place over the existing bowling carpet so special care had to be taken to protect the surface. Although we regularly install suspended ceilings as part of office refurbishment projects this was a particularly interesting project to work on due to the size of the ceiling and the constraints of the flooring.
